There will be a wide range of events during 2008
Be sure to visit our Woodland Adventure Play Area, walk on our Estate Walk and get the children to take part in our children's Peacock Trails. We achieved a Silver Award within the large Tourist Attractions South West Tourism "Oscars". Bronze winner within the Cornwall Tourism Awards. We also gained a CHEFS award for our catering. Proud to be an approved site within the World Heritage Site for Mining in Cornwall and West Devon.

Mon 5th Visit by Cornwall Vintage Vehicle Society on their annual Bluebell Run. Arrive midday and will depart 4.00pm At the last count 45 vehicles were entered!

Open day for the Helston Railway Preservation Society. Walks commence in the afternoon.

Thurs 17th Jazz Evening on behalf of Children's Hospice. Tickets £8 adults, £6 for concessions and children including an interval buffet. Tickets from CHSW office in Truro on 01872 261166. Be quick as there is a limit on ticket numbers for this event!

Wed 30th "Pitchside" written by Nick Whitby (Smack the Pony) and directed by Nathan Curry (Tangled Feet). This is a local outdoor evening production by new theatre group - True West Theatre Productions. Details to be confirmed but likely to start at 7pm. Cost £7 adult, £5 concessions £5 and children £4. Tickets will be available from Trevarno on 01326 574274, on the night and before via the Theatre Group themselves - awaiting details.
August 2008
Sat 2nd Jazz Festival - 2pm - 10pm. Afternoon session 2pm-5pm - Great Western Jazz Company and Black Rock Jazz Band; 5.30pm-7.00pm - Guitar Duo in Conservatory; Evening 7pm-10pm - Pennyroyal Jazz Band and New Delta Jazz Band. Performances take place in 2 venues in the main garden area. Tickets from Trevarno only on 01326 574274. 1day - Adult £9, Concession £8, Child £6 and Family £20. Thare is a 2 day option available too - Adults £16, Concession £14, child £10 and Family £35. Season Ticket Holders discounted tickets available.
Sun 3rd Jazz Fesitval. Info as above, however, bands are slightly different! 2pm-5pm - Black Rock Jazz Band and Roy Pellett Swingtet; 5pm - 6.20pm - Guitar and Clarinet Dup; 7pm-10pm - Funny Feathers 6 and Great Western Jazz Company.
Wed 6th Family Fun Day
Fri 8th Theatre Set Up return for an evening performance on the lawn, this time its 'All's well that ends well'. Tickets £9.50 adult, £8.50 concessions and £6 children.Tickets available NOW from Trevarno on 01326 574274. Also available on the night from 6.30pm. Performance starts at 7.30pm. Bring rug or chair if required as seating is limited.
Tues 12th Miracle Theatre perform "Jason". Tickets £9.50 adult, £8.50 concession and £6 children. Tickets available from Hall for Cornwall on 01872 262466, www.hallforcornwall.co.uk. Outdoor performance so bring rug and chair as seating is limited. Starts 7.30pm.
